I've missed writing. Whether I am good or bad at it is besides the point, the sheer pleasure it gave me in putting my thoughts into writing was self-gratifying.
Interestingly, my blogging abstinence is as old as my son now (including gestation).... So I guess we do give up some of our favorite things to do for the sake of our children... Which brings me to....
There was this article I came across that asks the question "What legacy are you leaving behind?". If your answer is "My kid(s)", you are doing a disservice to both your kid(s) and yourself. Your kid(s) because it means they have inherited some if not all your cognitive biases and carry forward. You because you just single-handedly erased every. single.feat of yours by the use of your dexterity. So, let me ask you again, "What legacy are you leaving behind?"
